Just checked TireRack, and they have something else in our OE size: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes
Only has a 260 treadwear rating, so don't expect it to last long, but it's a good option if you want an OE style LRR tire.

That's the O.E. tire for the first gen Honda Insight. Outstanding LRR properties... I would really like to know how the Enasaves compare in that department.

Tread wear rating of 420
FYI, I just stuck an old set of RE92's on my Firefly (Metro) this week and MPG went up by several. They really are remarkable as far as low rolling resistance goes.
Slightly cheaper than the Enasaves, but it is ridiculous how much 14" tires cost for these cars. Apparently they are cheap everywhere else in the world.
I only see the Enasaves as costing about $15 to $25 more than the Potenzas.
Doesnt seem like a good deal 18,000 mi compared to 36,000 mi.
of course when it comes time to change all 4 i am going to switch over to size 185-60-14 because there is a much wider selection to choose from at that size and cheaper prices.
On my dunlop Endasaves or whatever, I got about 70,000 kms or I think like approx 35,000 miles, but they were really bald by the end. I got the Potenzas about 4000 kms ago and so far same fuel economy etc.. and that's the main reason I went with the mirage, anyhow they look like more thread than the endasaves on day 1 but that doesn't really mean much necessarily.
If they are equal or better in the winter that's a bonus because i live like an hour and a half from Detroit in ontario and we get a pile of snow
Dspace9... how much & where did you get the RE92s?
I would get dedicated winter tires on steelies. Even the cheapest one will be better than the Re92's. You can pick up a used set for peanuts on kijiji if you start looking before winter
I got them at mitsubishi london, ontario and I think I paid somewhere in the neighbourhood of 130 a piece, kind of expensive I think. I am no expert but I have only found for new winter tires for the car ones made by Pirelli at my local Kaltire and I wonder if they are good ones
