Sylvania LED light DE3175 fits and works well. Much brighter than the original. About $7-8.
Do you mean this?

Amazon currently lists this at $4.84. Is this something you are currently using, Mitsuko? If so, could you share your views on using it?
This is what I installed:

The one you found Eggman may be an earlier one? Mine was $7.99 at O'Riley Auto Parts. Anyway, I easily installed it yesterday; it is bigger than the factory bulb it is replacing but fits perfectly. It noticeably brightens the cabin with a typical for LED bright white light.
My old car was a 2000 Buick LeSabre which lit up like a Christmas tree inside, so maybe I am more sensitive to the dimmer light in the Mirage.
Recommend doing it if you feel you need a bit more light since it is not too expensive and easy to change.
you dont have any issue with the computer as the light of loss of traction?

I read recently that the German firm that designed the 1200 cc engine that is in my 2015 Mirage DE also designed a 4-cylinder 1600cc engine. If Mitsubishi were to introduce a US version of the Mirage with that engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, bigger rear drums (or disc brakes) and a few suspension tweaks they would have a "pocket rocket" that could compete with a lot of other offerings. I, for one, would buy that in a heartbeat.
What is the MUSA response to that suggestion?

I have a question:
"Why the hell can't I ORDER a Mirage GT with a manual transmission??"
