Unusual parking lot company

I went to a local eatery for breakfast the other day. Normally I park away from other cars because I'm afraid of getting door dings. In this case, I parked in a row at the edge of the parking lot because it was in the shade at the time. I came out and this guy was parked next to me in an Audi R8 convertible...

It was just funny to see this. That car is around $175,000. I'm guessing the wheels/tires on this guy's car cost more than my Mirage. :D It looks like he parked close to me, but he didn't. I think he just wanted some of the shade that was available at the time.

I've been told at the Mitsu dealership that the Mirage is "much larger than" my Fiat. In fact, it's quite a bit longer but no wider than the Fiat. Then, a friend of mine commented that it was larger than my Yaris (that was totaled). I never in a million years thought it was larger than that Yaris sedan. Whether or not it's true I don't know, but the Mirage is giving off the impression that it is not so tiny.

Reviving this old thread again...

I'm not sure what this thing was. I see a fair number of these wrapped/camouflaged test vehicles driving around with manufacturer plates. If it was a musclecar I would have spent some time looking it over. But it was just another SUV.

One thing is for sure...if you stare at that wrap too long in person, it will give you a headache! :p

The blight of the mass market shift to crossovers/ SUVs has pretty much extinguished what was a lifelong interest in the new car world for me.

Y'all. I just looked through 2 photo accounts and it seems I do not have any photos of the mirage with other vehicles except the wifes car so thats whats below.

Excuse the messy garage. Its not less messy today.
