Just saw this thread and it may answer a question I was having. I am needing to replace at least one of my tires but all four should probably be replaced due to wear. I can't afford the OEM Dunlops (if I replace all at once) will the 175/65R14 work with the stock steel wheels on a 2015 Mirage DE?

The short answer is yes. Since you stated they all needed replacement there is a multitude of choices in that size and for most of the planet 175/65r14 is the OEM size.

185/60's work just fine as well. I haven't seen any issues at all running them on stock wheels.

Where's the skinny on running 135s? Or even 115s? Whaddya mean they don't make them? Imagine the mileage, that is if you could get any grip to take off.
Well sh*t, I just found some 135/70r15 Continental, Hankook, etc at some French website. Must be wicked mpg FE tires.

The 175-65s are the best imo. They offer more comfort and handling vs stock. The 185-60 is good for aggressive driving but it's really pushing the limit of the 4.5 inch wide wheel. I recommend replacing all 4.
