Though I don't know where you can find one, I'm pretty sure it is made by Clarion. Would you consider one of their aftermarket models?

i can do that without changing my radio??
i don't know much about radios, but my neighbor has a Microsoft Windows double din, said he paid under $200. its really nice. it had a high rms, gps, dvd all kinds of stuff.
really seemed like an excellent deal when he was showing me it but I'm pretty far behind the times when it comes to stuff like this.
Ya, aftermarket would work just as well. I like the look of the factory deck and there is significantly less incentive to steal it.
Who would have thought it would be so difficult to purchase separately. My dealership wants $1700 CDN ($1318 USD). It could be argued that it's worth much less than a high quality aftermarket deck.
Im not suprised about the huge price.. It's new that Mitsubishi has the Android Auto in their cars, like many other car brands.
So i would wait some time, until you find one at a junk yard, or some other place ..
It's not stock, but I just installed this last week and so far it's been phenomenal. I've never had a fancy head unit before so I can't compare, but this one has pretty much everything described above except for Android Auto and Apple Carplay. I've only had it for a week so I'm hesitant to recommend it just yet, but when I get time I plan on making a thread on it.
