Yeah it may be like that but in terms of can it reach 1 mio. miles :). I took care of the rust it has rust proffing all over the place so I think this one will last quite a long time :)

Pretty sure Rkt Ship has the highest miles on his Mirage:
The first 50,000 Miles / 80,000 km (highest miles Mirage?)
And another thread kind of asking the same question:
How many miles/kilometers on your Mirage/Space Star so far?
Thanks alot :)
Admin note: Threads merged!
Rolled 33,000 today, ubering I'm averaging almost 1,000 per week! I'm getting a second uber vehicle soon though. I'm so thankful used mirages are so cheap and I can't wait to own a cvt to do uber with. But that will be in a few years :)
It is nice to know this because this is a proof of how reliable the car can be. But you are just doing a lot of miles how many a day ? :)
I average about 100mi a day, but this is with 2500-3000mi a month. He should be doing x3 times of that.
With respect to lasting many things on car wear due to time not miles but time/ number of cold starts, so it may be not a good indicator. The car Mirage replaced (96 Protege) had 433740mi on odometer, when it rolled into dealership for trade in. It was still running fine, just needed timing belt, tires, alignment, etc and was not worth putting money in.
We would probably never get another one to clock over 400k, but 2-300k is very reasonable from modern car. This is based on 10 years 20-30k schedule. If someone getting 60-80k a year, that entirely doable in 5 years. There is a Prius V owner who managed 350k in 3 years, averaging about 600mi a day
