Thank you will be checking mine tomorrow :)
Nice! Looks like a zip tie repair will be my choice if I run into this issue, good to know its easy to get to and flush out the drain.
i would suggest add something before it happens. it only took one day to drain but its almost a week and ive wet vacumed and faned. its still wet! i might actually make a warranty claim and make them replace me entire carpet due to mildew.
I had the same problem...passenger side floor was wet, even the back seat floor had an inch or so of standing water. I thought maybe a water bottle had broken, but this was way too much water. I remembered this post from a few years ago, found the post again and fixed the problem. Hose was completely off. I wonder for how long as I don't use the A/C very often. Thanks so much for this post as I would have never thought of this!
I wonder if the 17 is the same? I will check this out for sure and add a hoseclamp to it.
think those of us that put weathertech in found this out first. just add a clamp and the issue is null. dry it very well i still have a moldy smell from getting flooded on a mini vacation
I just checked, and my 2017 has a factory-installed hose clamp.
Yup, drove Uber for a day with the AC on, wet floor front and back. Great post! Issue solved.
