Discount Tire is doing another wonderful promotion for Memorial day. Its running the 25th and 26th. I know some here have used this promo to get some pretty awesomely inexpensive wheel and tire setups.

If you are not interested in maintaining your TPMS, the absolute cheapest way to buy a wheel/tire package from Discount Tire is to do it on-line at Discount Tire Direct. The tires will be mounted and balanced for FREE...and then shipped to your door for FREE. And yes...you still get all the same rebates and promotions!
They will even install new TPMS sensors in the wheels if you want them (and they are reasonable). But you'll have to fork over $100 for your dealer to program them to your car's computer. We still don't have an aftermarket solution for doing this on a Mirage, but I'm still talking to a manufacturer from China who is working on solving the mystery of the Mirage's TPMS system.
Here we go again...just in time for July 4th... :D

This Mirage Forum member bought a new set of 14" wheels and tires (mounted/balanced and shipped free to his front door) from Discount Tire Direct for $214 after rebates. :eek:
Good news....The Discount Tire rebates are back! :)
Bad news......The rebates are not as generous as they used to be. :(
Maybe Discount Tire is on to us. It used to be easy to get $200 or more off the cost of a set of wheels and tires. Now it looks like they have capped the rebate deal at 10%. Still not bad but not quite as good as the rebates used to be.

Yeah, I noticed this too. I've been waiting too. I want to get a new set of tires for my Prius. I was hoping for one of the crazy sales.
