I haven't been trying hard lately but my last 3 fill ups this month averaged 17.4mpg(13.5l/100kms). All I had to do was buy a house where the commute home doesn't involve being stopped on a poorly designed freeway(with poorly designed drivers) for 20 mins everyday. I'm also thinking there may be a direct correlation between road-rage and fuel economy? Sadly I don't see any difference at the pump because fuel prices just keep going up:(
