That's a good idea. I find I can usually tolerate a cold cabin until the engine warms up, but I might try it one day. :)

Since I live in Portland now, I don't really need much, but back in ND I had a block heater, lower radiator hose heater, and an oil pan heater on my Elantra. It may seem like overkill, but my goal was getting to operating temp as fast as possible. It might be worth your time. None are very expensive either.
I added a link to my Monroney sticker under Speck's general notes so everyone can see the factory configuration.
Busy morning. After sleeping in until 5:00 AM, a quick bowl of corn flakes and a bit of coffee, I proceeded to spend an hour shoveling. http://mirageforum.com/forum/attachm...6&d=1485784926

Dang! That's a heap of snow. I sure don't miss those mornings. Nothing but copious quantities of rain here.
Haha - WOW!!!
I'm on the east coast this month, so thankfully not seeing as much of the white stuff as I usually do.
One year of Speck! I celebrated with a car wash yesterday to knock back the layer of road salt.
Nothing to report, really. I need to get caught up with fuel fill-ups. The winter fuel economy is a drag but it's more comfortable than walking.
One of these days I'll post about my dashcam.
Cheers!
Congrats. Here's to many more!
Congrats! Any plans for the car come summer time?
No modifications planned at this point. I've been thinking about a hitch for my bike rack with an Airlift kit - we'll see.
No big trips planned yet.
