For real?? I was cruising on a long, 6 lane, divided, urban parkway with few stoplights. When I reached one, this is what the gage read! I had seen 61 and 63mpg but could not snap pic. Got home and the stop and go roads reduced it to 44.
Or is my mpg gage off? This is a 2017 G4 SE CVT 1700 miles on odometer. Cruising at 40 mph with cruise control on when possible.

Yeah - don't get too excited about the recently reset readings from the "A" gauge over s ahort distance, whether high or low. The highs & lows will average out over the course of a tank.
But those numbers for the G4 are within the realm of possibility under ideal conditions:

I have a '14 mirage with the 5 speed. The picture is from a 42 mile trip home from work. Mostly rural two lane with a speed limit of 55 mph. 9 stop signs/stoplights. This is the best I've been able to achieve. I usually average 49-50 mph.

I'll start posting some pics of from the Trip B on some cars I see coming through the shop, when I remember. Lately they seem to vary from 38-46 us mpg. Not bad considering none of the drivers here care about fuel economy!

When I got my car I pumped my tires to 36psi. Three days ago I went back to check and they were at 33 all around. I told them to pump them to 39. Did my gas refill today and I am amazed! 49mpg this tank with 70 percent of the usage was on 39psi!
