I would have paid extra for Enkei RPF1, which are even lighter, but they are 7" wide. I don't think I want to run such wide tires. I would have preferred to stay with the original 165/65/14 for lesser rolling resistance. Not sure if 165s can be installed on 6" Kosei wheel. Do I need to go wider?

That looks like a good option if you want to stick with 14" wheels. According to the Tire Rack, a 6" wide wheel is about as big as you'd want to go if maintaining your stock 165-65-14 tires.
Consider moving up to 15" wheels for a bigger visual impact, a better selection of tires, and no reduction in fuel economy. Yes...it's possible. ;) Read about it here.
Before you do anything with your wheels/tires, go get a 4-wheel alignment check done on your car to be sure you don't have this problem.

Kosei makes nice wheels. Those never came up in all my TireRack searches. But no RPF1s for you. The hub bore is Miata size, thus too small for us.
