I let my son drive old blue (Cummins Ram) last week, with my utility trailer plum full of yard debris to the recycle center. I followed him to the recycle center. I guess it's called a recycle center. They doze it into a big pile, put it through a big ole chipper and make free mulch out of it. Anywho...

Riding behind the Ram, with a straight 5" exhaust (no cat, no resonator, no muffler, just absolutely straight pipe), that thing sounded MEAN. He is good at driving it, but hasn't drove it enough to know when it's appropriate to use 1st gear (a creeper) versus 2nd gear. 2nd gear is the normal starting off gear. He turned into the recycle center and it has kind of a sharp rise leading in, and there was a line of vehicles. So he had to stop on the rise. When he started going again ... in 2nd, at idle, man did it sound mean trying to hold idle while pulling up that rise. No wonder I get so many thumbs up ... probably more from 16 to 20 year old young men than anyone. I bet that truck pisses off the Tata drivers. Eggman's getting annoyed too! Ha! Just kidding Eggman.

I haven't driven my truck since October! I had to insure in last week so my dad could use it to haul dirt and bricks cause his avalanche can't do truck stuff.
