The stereo provided in NZ is a non-touch screen double din unit
The BT function is provided by a separate box mounted on the back of the stereo unit. I could photograph the unit to see if it is an easy add-on using an OEM or 3rd party BT solution if you like.

But you need the multimedia unit (double din). I only own the one line display radio unit LOL .... have to replace the whole unit, then I rather get a Pioneer or Alpine Double Din rather than the Mitsubishi one lar

My Nokia Lumia 520 works brilliantly on BT. I just put a 32Gb TF card with my music collection on set it up and forget it. It just works great with the standard music software and is completely seamless with sat nav, calls and texts (I can dictate a reply). I even got an upgrade with the WP8 software which upgraded the phone to Bluetoothv4 with a noticeable improvement in sound quality.
If I need to charge I use the powerplug (lighter socket).
My bluetooth works, but it sucks for playing back music. I keep it off because every time I do anything with the phone the BT connects and my radio stops.

I have a Lumia 920? (Verizon version of the 900)

That's what my radio and dash looks like, other than the steering wheel being on the wrong side.

Does your radio have a bluetooth input?
My bluetooth is for phone calls, but as I mentioned previously it'll play music back.

I use a standard 16gB USB stick and it works perfectly.

I didn't order the bluetooth function because of the cost, for 1/3 of this price I installed a Parrot CK3100 and now I can see who calls and use its speach functions if I want to call someone. works perfectly as well!
