    Mirage ES CVT

Well, finally got a Mirage! Got a lease for a ES with CVT, and what a difference! And they call this a budget car!?
I'm already surpassing the epa estimates, got a around 47mpg highway from the 101 freeway, and that was during that rain storm that barely passed. So it's already saving me money!

Woohoo, congrats! It sounds like you're off to a good start already.

I must admit, I'm jealous of your liquid water. I haven't seen any of that outside for months. It was -11F this morning!

    Congrats.

What do you think of that CVT compared to the Metro's old 3-speed slushbox?

Hahaha! This cvt is so smooth, won't miss those harsh bumps anymore! Thankfully Mitsubishi had the courtesy to leave a dipstick for the cvt, most are becoming sealed now.

I doubt the 5 speed has a dipstick. I've never had a car with a manual trans that had dipstick. Its normally just plugs since the manual trans oil very rarely gets changed out (if ever). Having a dipstick is just one more area for dirt to get in.

Been driving it for a little over a week now and still enjoying it! Getting used to power steering and the a/c. Does anyone know what the the two empty buttons besides the traction control were for?

Where's the T.C. button? Need picture.

If they're down low in the center stack, it's seat heater buttons.
