    Thank you! I did it not all correct though. There was no warning on sticking plastic when you peeled the tape etc so mine was not perfect. But i love the rims as well.

    Do you have to do anything to prep the bumper? Sand it etc.?

    Nope. Just make sure the surface is clean and not wet before applying

    I just had to do it. Mine is sanded with satin gloss paint. I figured the carwash would not be good to the plasti-dip.

    I recently traded my 2 yr old car for a newer model with a bigger engine. It will never be at a touch carwash or a "hand wash" where they use dirty car brushes and micro scratch your paint. IMO hand washing (especially on such a small car) is a cheaper and better choice. Touchless wash otherwise

    I agree 100 percent it. But with two heart attacks and severe COPD I don't have much of a choice but to run it through a car wash.

    Actually plasti dip can resist carwash perfectly, i tried that a couple of times
