I just read the previous post. I think yours is a 2012 model because it has a complete clockspring and no cruise wire running to ECM.
First thing you need to check is whether your ECM has 5v output on pin 61(EU version) or 93(US version).

Its got the ten pins at the output side connector (C-306) but what about how many pins at where the steering controls connector plugs in connector (C-301)? This other photo - (didnt come out very well) - so Im not sure all 10 pins are there ?
Ah, I forget if it has code for clockspring with steering angle sensor and without.
But if it has 10 pins at c306, it will be same at c301

Tried to test for 5V but cant seem to see any voltage from either pin (61 or 62)- assumed that ignition had to be on ? tried with ignition off and on but same result - wonder if my test probes are connecting with the male pins ? or we just dont have 5v?

Question - Does Cruise have to be enabled in the ECM/ECU before 5v is present at 61?

Its either that or this ECU does not support Cruise!! Eeek!

If all else fails should still be able to use an aftermarket Cruise with OEM cruise steering control buttons (if Clockspring continuity is there.)

Your ECM does not support cruise control since there's no 5v output.
I haven't had the chance to compare the 2012 vs 2014 ECM PCB, whether it's only missing 1 or 2 components to enable 5v output.
For example like the speedometer, various trims have the same PCB but they reduce the features by not installing related components.

If you get to compare the ECU's inside please do let us know Id be interested...I guess this ECU is either missing components or its just not written in the Software.

I think for me now I have to go aftermarket and try and use the OEM Steering controls.

Noting for reference - ECU used in Australia for Mirages 2012+ were manufactured in Thailand.

Or you can replace your ECM with 2014+ (model with radio antena on the back).
