I would like to see a sport version with a na 4b11 or a turbo 3cylinder :-)
650cc turbo engine with a 6 speed manual that out puts around 94 to 115hp.
Tighter supension
Leather wraped steering wheel standard.
Vastly better seats.
Two items only:
1. Larger fuel tank, an additional 1 gallon or more would be nice to increase driving range, I rarely exceed 400 miles
2. Head rest for the middle seat, second row
Here's my ideas.
1. OEM grille block as an available accessory so I don't have to make my own.
2. Rear wiper should be mounted in the center for an even, symmetrical wipe pattern (see Chevrolet Sonic)
3. Backup camera should also be centered. Looks stupid off to one side.

Better steering, that does not feel as if there were brakes attached to the steering column.
Better and ergonomically shaped seats, with much thicker and softer foam padding.
foama - have you tried a 2017 year Mirage? The steering is much improved. I believe you saw the thread I posted about it.
Thread: EPS (electric power steering) actively self-centers steering for 2017 (video)

How I would improve the Mirage. Well...
1. wider sunshades
2. wider sunshades
3. DAB radio
4. Get the f... wheel alignments right.
5. Less dusty brake pads
6. Dash indication of lights on
7. More gauges on the dash (fuel, engine temp, oil pressure).
better seats, especially the ability to modify the angle of the headrest (like my truck).
