So I thought the car was good to go. I literally drove it 20 miles and call the owner to come and get it. He paid me for my time and left and then my phone was ringing. He called and said it was miss-firing and the check engine light flashing. I told him to bring it back and his ride was still there. Apparently we have more wires messing up since I can tug the harness and affect the missfire. Updates soon!

Johnny - Hey good buddy-pal ... are there any houses for sale or rent in close proximity to yours? I was wondering where I might move to next!

You could be a migratory snow bird.

So I unwrapped all the wiring and could not find any obvious broken wires. I then started tugging the harness until it misfired and traced it to a ground wire. I unwrapped the rest of the ground wires and found one broken at the connector to the engine. These ground are individual in the harness so tracing all the number 2 cylinder coil and injector harnesses got me nowhere and finding continuity on all of them got me worried that I would not find it.

That looks like a poor quality crimp that pulled out of the connector. What are the odds the rest are that way?

    Good catch.
