    These engines are not from Yamaha, and aren't built for bikes. They are a modernized development based on a design of the Kölleda factory. It was a joint venture with Mitsubishi, and is now totally owned by Daimler (Mercedes Benz). Today Kölleda builds and designs most Daimler engines.
    The engine block is high-pressure die cast alloy, which enables much more acurate, delicate and detailed designs. The closer you look at it these engines, the more respect you have for the excellent work of the design teams.

    I didn't say, not even the first time, it WAS a Yamaha. I said it is LIKE one in that it has three cylinders as does a dozen other motors.
