    Fuel pump match up

Replaced fuel pump in 2015 mirage, the new pump had no hole for fuel tank pressure sensor. Also missing apin in the electrical connection. It also had no bullet shaped sensor. Will it still work ?

I wouldn’t use it. At least not without the correct sensors installed.
Why are you replacing the fuel pump? I’ve yet to see one fail, even after having dirt and water get sucked into one.

If you’re sure the pump isn’t working you could transfer the fuel pump from the “new” housing to your old one.

Where did you get your replacement fuel pump?

The fuel pump assembly can develop a crack which generates an emissions fault. I'm not sure if that's what happened geejoguy1, hopefully they can clarify.

I did that, the car runs but the old pump has a crack in it and leaks if I fill it up .

Is it a Mitsubishi fuel pump or did you get it from Autozone, RockAuto, etc?

Makes me wonder if it's an overseas model pump that didn't come with a maf sensors or ?

I assumed all North American model Mirages had the same pump assembly, or at least had the fuel temp sensor(bullet) and tank pressure sensor(on top).
Installing a pump without those sensors would kinda defeat part of the reason for replacing it in the first place. I forgot about the cracked top housing, that's not something that I've seen happen firsthand...yet.

Sorry, not very adept with this yet. Probably have to pull the pump and try and fix the crack. Super glue and baking soda? Have to run a little more fuel out . Will get back to you . Probably should go to Intro let you know a little more about me. Again sorry for the delay.

I can't vouch for these parts...but I see aftermarket Mirage fuel pumps on eBay and Amazon for around $100. This Amazon part mentions the real Mitsubishi part number for the fuel pump. So maybe not a bad deal if you just want to drop in a new part...
