A manual transmission Versa is fairly unusual. I have checked the stock of a local Nissan mega-dealer and they rarely have one on the lot. Their website always shows a few as "in-transit." I've also never seen one without an extra $400+ for stuff like splash guards and floor mats...

Back before I bought Bluey from Loren I was fairly convinced that I was going to buy a new Versa because I really liked the look of the last one with the Chrome V grille. But like you said, even then it was difficult to find a M/T example. The ones dealers have "in transit" are almost always sold before they hit the lot because contrary to the narrative, folks still want simple M/T cars as we here all know. But the one time I finally found one in stock, I got all excited, and went ready to buy, and the driving experience was so bad I turned around and went home. Absolute soulless feeling, abysmal dynamics, nothing that made you excited at all. I was really bummed out.
