Warranty Question (what modifications will void my warranty?)

Seems like US warranty is strict, over here, it is whatever gets replaced. So if I put coilovers on my car, the suspension part of the warranty is void, but everything else remains covered.

Which does not make sense.

Coilovers would lower a car.
Lowering the car would change the geometry of a few key components including but not limited to axles, hubs, joints, etc.
