And just remember that the Mirage was only on sale for about a week in January. So that is not evan a full two months of sales for the Mirage so i think for it to get 1688 sales in around 5 weeks is very good going.

Welcome pinky.
I have the sales figures for AprilMitsubishi’s strong result came partially thanks to higher than expected sales of its new Mirage city car, with 859 units moving out the door during the month.
Jamie - thanks for keeping an eye out for those sales figures. (I copied your post from the other thread to add to this one.)
The more they sell, the more choice people will have down the road in the used market too, eh?

Thanks for that Metro. Yes the more they sell the more choice we will have for a second hand buy and the more likely we will have more choice of after market parts etc. And more that end up in the wreckers yards to get stuff from.
Mitsubishi Aus end of year price party.
AFTER its best ever first quarter, Mitsubishi is hoping to continue the sales momentum with a range of driveaway deals and cash-back offers of up to $3000 on selected models until May 31.Even Mitsubishi’s little Mirage now includes on-road costs and additional savings with $500 cash back for its $12,990 price tag.
"Best ever first quarter", eh? That's good news. I'm sure those discounts are helping too!
I recall reading that Mitsubishi UK is also doing really well too.

Jamie - are there any other cars on that linked page that you would say are Mirage competitors in Australia? I just listed the ones that were part of this comparison article: Australia: 2013 Spark, Mirage, Micra, Alto And Up Comparison Review
