Wink Paint flaked off from debadging - how to fix?

as for the initial question: I am a little disappointed by the paint.
When I removed the Mitsubishi and Mirage label from the rear, the sticker also took away little paint flakes.

On the other hand, I could also have left these on, but it looks way cooler without.

    What colour did you get?
I got mine in white and I debadged it without any hassles

(FYI, I split the paint discussion into its own thread...)

I'd say pick up one of those little bottles of matched paint from the dealer and touch it up. Hopefully it's not a big paint flake that came off.

Yeah, best thing to do is take it to your local dealer and get them to touch it up.

That colour is very unique so I wouldn't have faith in a spraypainter/panel beater in being able to mix it for you.

I'm curious as to how the op removed the emblem. Some people pry it off, others use fishing line or dental floss to "saw" the glue bond off.

Too bad about the damage to the paint. Good suggestions on the repair, or, just put the emblem back on the car and live with the factory look.

everyone wants pics of the rear lol. For like 12 bucks ish you should be able to buy a bottle of touch up. That will keep it looking clean and keep water out of it

Makes me glad I didnt get the green one then...i have taken razors and flat head screwdrivers to my paint with no issues. Maybe the white is just a stronger paint.

I used the fishing line trick. Then used turtlewax bug and tar remover to get the glue off.
    Worked great
