I was thinking the same thing.

Not a bad deal overall considering they come with the alloy rims. Hell I've got half a mind to grab em and just have a few sitting in place of my spare, and in the hatch xD (my wife would kill me if I did that though ^_^

I am thinking of getting some 15's that i pregiewed on tirerack the other day but am not sure about offset and all that since I never bought rims. From my math 17's will never fit and a 16.5 will have to have a 2" tire on it to fit. That is of course assuming the wheel hub is the same clearance from top to bottom and not curved.
That math, however is using stock alloy rim and tire size in combinationas a "general clearance rule." There may well be extra room unaccounted for.

14-15 is best. 6-6.5 inch wide works, some say 7 works.
Offset can be mind boggling. My 14x6 (185/60 series tires) has a +30 offset. No rubbing of any kind yet - even at ~ 600lbs load.
Meanwhile, my 15x6.5 (205/55 series tires) +38 offset rubs. Thinking a 195/50 might do the trick.
I've already got a set of Civic VX wheels I'll be swapping on soon.

Cani: if you're doing it for efficiency, don't forget the VX wheels are probably worse, aero wise (though covering them would fix that). And the tires *may* have higher rolling resistance than the OEM Mirage ones (unless you specifically chose a LRR tire). You could do a low speed coast-down comparison to figure that out.
