Take it to the dealer is the easiest. Warranty item for sure.

The "shade tree mechanic" method involves cutting a small piece of electrical tape and strategically applying it to the offending light.

I'd go with the 1st option, personally.

If the light is on, its on for a reason. I would get it checked out. Its a brand new car, everything should be covered under warranty.
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

I think u guys dont understand me, its a maintanence light that tells u to do a regular service like oil change, its set to come on after a certain amount of kilometers are reached, its not the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT!
My closest dealer is 300km away, im working 7 days a week, i cant just walk over to the dealer.

Don't feel too bad. The manual is the last place I usually look too.
