Thumbs up Bad news on Bilstein availability...

I tweeted to Bilstein US today asking about supporting the Mirage, and I got a reply stating that this is not currently in the development list. I then asked what kind of request response they would need to see to get the ball rolling and they replied that it had more to do with number of cars on the road...

    Gonna hit up Koni next.

How unique can the shocks/struts/springs on the Mirage be?
I bet someone could take components from similar cars and adapt them to fit. Maybe we can order parts direct from overseas through one avenue or another if adapting other components isn't feasible.

Who makes our shocks/struts? I though it was actually a good brand. Maybe they can just make a 'sport' version with the same housing, just different internals?

Excellent info. I have Tokico Blues on an old Jetta. I'll email them.

I just spoke with Tokico and they have no knowledge of being OE on the Mirage...

He thought it might be KYB.

    Next call. LOL
