The tags are public, issued by the state, every vehicle that encounters you on the street sees your plate.
I am not trying to be an ass, I am genuinely interested in the thought process for this - maybe I need to do this to my pics?? I have never given it a second thought...
People in the local forums can mess with your car if they know that's yours. Also, lots of theft that could have been prevented with blurred plates.

I am going to do the same thing.
Just I am sourcing wider steelies since they are like 4.5" wide.
going for 15x6 is widest I have found

Then slam it and it will look sick.

Hey, playing with different wheel style made me browse around.

What do you think about colored wheels, red on a Kiwi green Mirage :-)

You might want to look for Scion iQ steelies. They're 16", 4x100.

We don't have that over here, unless the Rukus/Cube or similar would have the same wheels.

Competed the look tonight! With chromed lugnuts and center caps. This was a cheap mod too:

Stainless steel chromed trim rings: $ 43
    Chromed lug nuts (16) 24
    Center caps (4) 20
    TOTAL $ 87

Not bad for changing the looks of my car to a more classic style. Please excuse the potato photo, I had low light.
