    Got my trim rings!

And I love how they look! They arrived today. I was gonna wait until I cleaned the car up nicely to show them off, but I put in one just to see how it looks, but ince they look so nice, I went ahead and installed all four! Next step is chromed lug nuts. They're made out of chromed stainless steel, fit really nice and tight, and have a nice curve that looks just great. $43 for the set with free shipping, from Selkirk Auto through Amazon.

Some quick and dirty pics (and excuse the mess!):

Serious question here (and don't mean to hi-jack, divert the thread) - why (do people) 'blur' the plate?
The tags are public, issued by the state, every vehicle that encounters you on the street sees your plate.
I am not trying to be an ass, I am genuinely interested in the thought process for this - maybe I need to do this to my pics?? I have never given it a second thought...

Also, looks fine w/o chromed lugs, IMO.
And - if you pull the wheels hit the wheel bearing dust caps (in the rear) with some black paint, and hit the nut & threads in the front too, will make it appear more sightly, and "protect" the exposed metal.
    justa thought
