    Hey guys,

I have a quick question for your bigger tires mods.
Do you recalibrate the speedometer and odometer, or do you simply not care that the displayed and actual speed are off, when using a larger wheel diameter?

It would be curious how you reprogram the computer, because even with my stock tires, the GPS speed and the displayed speed are off by a few MPH.

On the long run, also the odometer should be off by a few percent and thereby also all the MPG figures and so on.

    thx for your thoughts.

    Websites like:
    http://www.willtheyfit.com/
    http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

calculate the differences of an old and new wheel+tire setup. Basically, the website does the math for you. The site tells you if your new setup's MPH will be more or less than what the speedometer shows.

    My current setup shows:
When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 60.2mph (96.9km/h): 0.3% faster.

    The question then:
What's more important to you? MPG or looks+performance.
