    Its easy to AVERAGE better than the EPA HWY rating in a Manual Mirage. I AVERAGE 45MPG not trying. Get the stick.

    I stand by my statement that in city driving, the manual can match/beat the CVT when driven at the same speeds & rates of acceleration.

    On the highway? The verdict's still out on that one until we can get a head-to-head comparison.

    ^ Weather, terrain, road conditions, traffic conditions.

    Those are just a few off the top of my head.

    I'm saying that in the same conditions, over the same route, at the same time (side by side if you like), the 5-speed can match or beat the CVT in the city.

    The biggest variable remains: the driver.
