Post FS: 2014 Mirage DE, 5 speed, blue, 8k miles (PA, USA)

    Considering selling it, any offers?

    Has aftermarket upgrades including:
    - Upgraded electrical system (which also reduces the gross weight of the car)
    - Upgraded head unit (Kenwood in dash video [no GPS] w/iPod-iPhone connection in the glove box)
    - Upgraded door speakers w/4 channel amp (Kicker 4x75w).
    - 2x12" Sub box in the back w/800W amp under passenger seat (MTX). Takes up entire cargo area and seats will not latch. Removable when space is needed or seats need to latch.
    - Probably the loudest Mirage around... 1100W RMS total power. This is actual power, I had to wear hearing protection when tuning it a 90% volume. Zero distortion and you can hear it 2 blocks away. Might have went a bit overkill on it.

All replaced OEM parts still on hand and included. Swap back if you wish.

Nothing wrong with it, just getting a different car. I'd keep it but couldn't afford 2 payments (well, I could, but not comfortably, I was going to until I saw the insurance on the new car).

    Lancer Evo

Edit: I might keep the Mirage though, I finally found a decent insurance quote.

I should drop my 1500rms subs in the mirage to claim that title!

It's in my garage on the forum. It's a typical blue mirage base model.

    Here's this: http://imgur.com/a/PgQ1F

I kept the OEM stuff so I can swap it. The head unit only offers nav with an iPhone with the app.

Now that I talked to the dealer about trade in (they offered 10k) I know what it's worth:

$11,050 with the OEM stuff and aftermarket speakers (had to drill them in, so not going to remove them)
$12,500 with the aftermarket stuff, has iPod/iPhone control (connector in glove box) w/album art display
$11,300 with only the aftermarket head unit (no amps or subs, you'll need your own 4 channel then)

Bluebook value is $11,377. I can't haggle much because I still owe money (just under 13k) to the bank.

I used wiring harnesses to install all the OEM stuff, no wire splicing was done. Other combinations of stuff is available just tell me what you want me to leave in there and I'll give you a price. The upgraded battery is significantly lighter than the OEM battery, so I recommend it for fuel economy reasons even if you don't want the stereo.

In all situations all OEM stuff is included so you can swap it back if you need to later.

1500 RMS is only 300~400W more, that's not a noticeable difference in power increase

Remember: 4x the power to 2x the volume.

Dont care about the details. What's important is the title.

Traded the mirage in. I'll get another mirage eventually, next time not the lame base trim.

Guess you can have that title... XD

I kept the stereo, so, does anyone want to buy the stuff I used to install the aftermarket head unit? The console bezel, the brackets, etc.

    You still wouldn't have it.

    I'm a Sundown Audio rep.
