    How do you say Mitsubishi?

I stumbled across this Video yesterday from someone to whom I am subscribed on youtube.

The guy they surprise says Mitsubishi like I do. I pronounce it Mitsu-bih-she. First time I have heard someone else pronounce it like that.

    I have also heard:
    Mitsubeeshee (most common)
    Meetsubeeshee

I also pronounce Nissan wrong. I say Nissin not Knees-on.

^ Me too - same as Daox.

Though I haven't heard any other car name mangled by so many people as Mitsubishi. I've even heard a bad (NSFW) joke based on the car's name. No, I'm not going to post it. Google "itchy mitsubishi joke"

Nissan: I was talking to a company rep a few months ago who gave me clear instructions: "Knee" (points to knee) "Sawn" (makes sawing motion on his knee). Before that I was saying "NISS Anne".

It's so simple, japanese sounds like chinese, they divide pronounciation in few letters. So it's Mi-tsu-bi-shi (

I think they write it like this: 三菱. The pronunciation can be heard in Google Translate.

That's the kanji (old chinese) way. I've written the hiragana version.
