I think its here in the philippines. Windshield sticker says "starbright bodykits" (a local company here) and the wiper orientation is for left hand drive. (Malaysia is right hand drive)
indeed... not malaysia. we dont have time as slave to our economy and hard work to save money.. hahaha

our tax structure for the car is 200-300% from original price.

i guess from the pic , either Thai or Philipines.

As part of the technology used in the creation of the Mirage utilized different guages and steel types in order to provide enough load bearing but provide super light weight, it might be interesting to see how the car might actually drive considering the weight and power provided by the new engine and the modifications would obviously put stresses the chassis was not designed for. Maybe a full roll cage would help. Otherwise, not to put a damper on things, but I've built similar setups on much stronger chassied vehicles and they rode like ass. Cool, yes. Practical... well, for shows maybe but daily prolly not. Just my .02.

Wouldn't putting a 4b11 of a evo10 or 4b12 from a lancer gts work better??? it would require no welding at all and you could use a 4b11 fwd 5speed for a na lancer... i was the 1st guy to put a 4g64 in too a 5g mirage i would love too be the 1st too put 4b11 in to a 6g mirage!!!

Brother, would love to see pics of your build when and if you do it. Right now, funds are tight. i'll be taking a different route with my mirage G4. Still sourcing funds for that sucker. Good luck!

Any 4 cylinders would require welding, 4g63 isnt that much longer than a 4b11.
