    [Engine swap] 4G63 into a 2014 Mirage (2L turbo)

This is pure madness and I love it...

No informations whatsoever, currently speaking to the one who is doing this.

    Will add up informations !

Apparently the mirage suspension is very similar to the evo 4 one.

That's amazing. I would have thought a 4b11/4b12 would have been easier since they too are the new platform Mitsubishi are using.

Considering this the 3a9 engine has been in use since 2003 maybe it was easier to mount the 4g into it since they were both being used at the same time.

Oh, new to Australia. Also the 4g into my mirage would make it illegal for road use.
Hope someone puts a 4b11 in soon :P

I am not an expert on Australian law, but here the car would need to be approved by the government after the refit. If everything is deemed safe, quiet enough, etc. by the road ministry, you will have a new license for your car and it is street legal. I have seen people legally putting Porsche engines in VW beetles here.

Wow. Is it in Quebec City?

For those who aren't familiar with the Mitsu engine codes (I wasn't):

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubi...us_engine#4G63

A 2.0L turbo (and naturally aspirated) engine used in various models including the Eclipse, Eagle Talon and Plymouth Laser and Lancer Evolution.

"Output for the 2003 US Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is 271 hp (202 kW) at 6500 rpm with 273 lb·ft (370 N·m) of torque at 3500 rpm. It has a cast iron engine block and aluminum DOHC cylinder head. It uses multi-point fuel injection, has 4 valves per cylinder, is turbocharged and intercooled and features forged steel connecting rods."
