New Mirage owner in Chicago area

I'm two weeks and a thousand miles into a new Mirage. I had gone to the Mitsubishi dealer to look at a different model but got blind sided by the MPG and price on the Mirage window sticker. Took a test drive and it seemed OK to me. Went home and watched 25 reviews badmouthing everything about the car but the price and the mileage. Took a longer test drive. Watched more negative reviews. Took a high speed, 30 over the limit, test drive. Bought one.

I had a bunch of VW busses and rag top Jeeps (well, 3 of each) so I sort of think of the Mirage as a quiet luxury car. Its all in the perspective.

DemiRage,,,,,I like your post!!! You did the Wright thing and tryed the car for your selves and didn't? Believe all the negative consumer reports! !!!! What color did you get? And we can't wait to see your pictures. Hopefully more people like you will get hooked on the mirage So spread the word!!! Welcome

Thanks JB. The Mirage is white and I did post a picture a couple of times but didn't get it attached to the my garage post. Eventually it will get there.

Thanks for the welcomes! The picture of my Mirage is now attached to the garage entry. Maybe it just osmosed it's way there but I'll say thanks for the annonomus help just in case.
