This thread helped me change my fluid easily

I used a "measured funnel". It was at walmart for less than 5 bucks, and it worked great.

    http://www.walmart.com/ip/FloTool-Me...l-7pc/16889147

It clips into a piece that almost looks like it was made for this funnel, on the electric fan. The hose curves right into the fill plug.

As for now a 4runner differential drain plug has been tested and works as a replacement drain plug with a built in magnet.

So , what do you 2 think of the Redline ? Noticed any improvements ? Used the MT90 75w-90 ( GL-4 ) for a Yaris and Prism ( Corolla ) that improved the shifting ( no grinding , espcially in cold ) and no clunking into reverse . Not sure if any gain of gas mileage . I would draw a black line with a Sharpie on each plug and the tranny housing to line up when reinstalling the plugs . Didn't have a torque wrench .

The transmission shifts a little smoother, but its really hard to say that is from the fluid or being broken in. The stock fluid is synthetic from the factory. Too many variables to know if a MPG difference, I extremely doubt any could be measured seeing as the stock fluid is synthetic, it never hurts to have the best though!

I didn't do a oil test on the original transmission fluid. Might do one at 30k with this redline.

Anyone know the size of the drain/fill plug gaskets? Changing out my fluid soon as well and I like to replace the crush washers but can't find the size anywhere.

Bumping for more review info. How are you guys who have changed the fluid liking the new fluid? What did you replace it with?
