Condition = like new, only 250 km
Bought brand new a few weeks ago from reputable dealership (Rallye Mitsubishi in Gatineau) but since realised I don't like driving standard. I should have taken a longer test drive, obviously. I drove a standard 15 years ago but I'm now driving a Honda Odyssey and got used to driving automatic. My loss is your gain: Paid $15,000 ($10,000 + freight + fees + $1,000 rust proofing package + taxes) and selling for $11,500.

Mitsubishi has the best warranty in the industry
    10-year/160,000 km Powertrain Warranty
    5-year/100,000 km New Vehicle Warranty
    5-year/Unlimited km Roadside Assistance

** The rust proofing package I bought covers the car for 10 years against rust. Paid $1,000 for the rust proofing package. They installed an electronic rust protection system + applied a rust prevention coating.

    Super fuel economy:
    City Fuel Economy 5.3L - 5.9L/100km
    Hwy Fuel Economy 4.4L - 4.6L/100km

Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS), Anti-Theft, CD Player, Driver Side Airbag, Power Mirrors, Power Steering, Power Windows, Side Impact Airbag, Tilt Steering, Bucket Seats, Spoiler, Traction Control, Passenger Airbag, Stability Control, Child-Safety Locks, Trip Computer, MP3 CD Player
Looks like they bought one of the $9998 Mirage specials.

lol, sounds a bit like a scam.

Who would just give away 3500 dollars because he doesn't like to drive stick?

Especially, since the Mirage attracts money sensitive customers rather than bling bling type characters.

Well, I might be wrong and in that case, enjoy the ride :-)

    $1000 rust proofing package!?!

When I see something like this, I always think it was involved in an accident and repaired.

Are we all just assuming the worst, here? It could be legit It's a 5 speed, right? Lets face it, everybody hates them! I go to the dealer there's 13 CVTs and 2 5 speeds. I see Ontario plates on the car. Anyone drive through an Ontario summer without A/C? SUCKS! Guess would be he's having a hard time selling and needs to drop the price

I think maybe $1000 for rustproofing is a scam, but that the car sale is legit. It isn't that hard to get a repair history so the chances that it was seriously damaged in 250km aren't great.

Everyone knows a used car depreciates, especially when the new ones are so cheap. I'd be taking a hard look at this one if it were closer.

No.. the rust proofing package is a dealer push/add-on available in Ontario.
It was pitched to me as well by my dealer.
Package includes an electronic corrosion inhibiter device (This type of device has been proven useless in real world testing) for about $6 - 700.00 + a typical rust spray coating. I found both products available elsewhere for under $300.00.

As far as the ad goes, I find it suspect also.
    Will weld for beer.

Why would a person buy that one unless there were No sticks available? When you can buy a Brand new one for less then 12,000. And in some places in Canada you. An get one under 10,000
