    DIY Homelink Garage Opener

I could not find a good place to my garage door remote, so I created my own "homelink" built in remote.

    Took my remote apart.

Here are the components I used... A momentary switch from Radio Shack, some wire, and the circuit board from the remote.

    Found a nice mounting point.

Drilled a hole and mounted the switch.

Put the parts back in the car using velcro to hold the circuit board to the airbag module.

Installed you can barely see the button, mounted high it works great.
