Newest project, interior LED lights for less than $20

So here is a teaser pic of my latest project on the Mirage. DIY interior LED light upgrades.

I've got less than $20 invested in these so far, but I'm still working on getting them to work with the factory dome light. I'll probably make a How To thread once I get all the bugs worked out, if there is enough interest.

It would be awesome if the lights can be integrated AND switched on/off using dome light switch.

I used the dome light in the hatch to activate these lights, so they only turn on and off with the door or when you turn the ignition off. If you were to pull down the factory dome light and wire it in there then these lights would turn on and off with the doors, or the switch.

You pulled a wire from the back all the way to the front or did u find the wire at the front that goes to the hatch on the back? where is it located?

I ran a wire from the back to the front off of the hatch dome light. A relay was utilized, and I had to figure out how the stock lights are triggered to get the wiring right.
