The improvement is that it keeps the sun out of my eyes and the kids' eyes when they're in the back, especially the windshield strip making up for the tiny visors. And of course it looks better, I haven't noticed anything with A/C yet; it's been on the cool side lately heading into fall.

I have no idea the brand or type or how to tell the difference between ceramic and non ceramic. I know the shop said the tint material is a layered product, and I can see the polarization (rainbow/3D effect, much like my crappy iPhone 5s screen) with my sunglasses on. They said it's much higher quality than what Autozone and the such carries, and it's more durable with a lifetime warranty against bubbling or turning purple.

I bought my Mirage in June, got it tinted within a week, and I live in Texas.

The tint has DEFINITELY helped with the A/C. Before, if I got into the car where the windows had been rolled up in the summer, by the end of a 10 mile drive it had finally cooled off. Now, with the same outside temps, it takes less than 5 miles before I'm turning the fan speed down.

It also helps with security. With tint on the car, if you have the back seats down then it is difficult for thieves to see inside the car to see what you have that they can steal (unless they look through the windshield).

It also helps with safety. In the event of a wreck, when a tinted window shatters the tint helps to hold the glass together so you don't have millions of shards of sharp glass go everywhere.

just got mine done today! I think it really stands out against the white .I have several mods planed in the near future. Tomarrow I'm gonna get my hid lights installed

Am so jealous that it's even legal to tint the front window
