People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly... timey-wimey... stuff.
Yes.... time as a concept is all the above. BUT, the way we measure and keep track of it is a strict progression of cause and effect. The timing provided by passing current through a crystal of quartz is neither theoretical or subjective. Clocks are machines. Some machines are better than others, ie more accurate. "The time keeping machine in my car is inaccurate while others are not, therefore my machine is defective, poorly made or doesn't make use of existing technology, ie. Auto calibration."

    Will weld for beer.

Mine gains a minute about every 5-6 weeks. Looks like that's just the way it is....

Since I bought it in Feb. I have had to set the clock back 3 times. About every 2-1/2 months the clock gains 3 minutes.
    Anyone else having this issue?
yes. mine runs fast. i have found that many cheap digital clocks will run fast over time.

Mine runs fast too, I just reset it every couple of weeks and deal with it. It is just a clock, I rather be annoyed with my clock than something big with the car going wrong!

So this is not happening in the cars with Navigation? Am I right is saying this is only happening in the cars with the regular radio?

Mine keeps accurate time, if you want a dash clock that sucks, the JVC stereo I installed in my fortwo to get a Bluetooth function with my smartphone gets first prize.....it would gain hours in a few weeks!

I checked the clock in my wife's Mirage and after two months it was right on time with my cell phone.
