I just went and registered my stoopid murdersickle. It cost me $970 in taxes. That's more taxes than I spent on the Mirage. What's my gobment gonna do with that money? I think I'd be sick to my stomach to know what that money is spent on. It makes me sick to think about it.

If I have a car get blown out (crashed, stolen, whatever), I think I'm going to find an old Ford Festiva, or a Chevette diesel, or maybe a Ford Pinto (manual trans required) that is still in decent condition and drive that MFer til I'm dead. Gonna try to make Mark jealous. But I'll have to lose a car first. I don't plan to do anything but hold what I got.

The taxes spent on that murdersickle took the romance out of the whole damn thing. I'm ready to sell it, it really made me sick to hand a bunch of dolts that much money, as I know it would be far better spent on hookers and blackjack.

Geez. Why does it has to cost so much? Seems like the st gob want it to make unpopular for the masses.

1990-93 Ford Festiva (manual) & 1997-2001 Honda CR-V (AWD manual) are the best! It's been all downhill ever since!

I'm a dinosaur stuck in time!

"Georgia Sales Tax Guide and Calculator 2022 - TaxJar
The state sales tax rate of Georgia is 4%, but counties and cities may impose additional taxes. For example, as of December 2021, Fulton County has a 3% sales tax rate, and Atlanta has an additional 1.9% rate."

Wisconsin has 5% sales tax & 0.5% is added to my area.

$9,299 x .055 = $511.45 was the sale tax for my Mirage, even though it came from Minnesota. Had they used their local sales tax, it would have been more.

"What is the sales tax rate in White Bear Lake, Minnesota? The minimum combined 2023 sales tax rate for White Bear Lake, Minnesota is 7.38%. This is the total of state, county and city sales tax rates."

    $9,299 x .0738 = $686.27 (White Bear area today)

If I buy a used motorcycle from a private party for $4,000, I will have to pay $220 ($4,000 x .055) in Wisconsin sales tax at the time of registration.

Building roads costs money. Money must come from somewhere! Snow plowing roads cost money! I don't question all this that much.

Wisconsin has less choice than to spend money on roads than does GA. I can't claim GA wastes money. I don't factually know. For all I know they may use every cent wisely. I'm just sore having to spend that much to pay taxes. Down here, I can tell them that I got the bike for free, they still base the taxes on their book value of vehicles.

I buy mostly used stuff, & I do that to save money. It's annoying to pay taxes on it. I won't argue that!

I don't want the IRS hunting me down. Some of those IRS agents may be armed! Don't want to start some shoot out over an old tractor my neighbor sold me when her husband passed away. She gave me a good deal, but I also took care of her property with it for the next 15 years, too. We both benefited from the deal.

If the IRS wants to hunt me down over that, I wish them luck! Anything that requires registration with the State to operate, I pay my fair share. We don't do book value, & I know people fudge things. Death & taxes are hard to avoid. I prefer one over the other!

I've been looking into bodykits since I need to repair the dents in my car anyway, and so far all I have found is this site:

    https://rstyleracing.com/en/product-...e-2012-2015-en

I haven't tried buying anything yet, and it's not local to the US, but I haven't really seen any other alternatives so far.

Let me know how it does if you decide to pull the trigger

Some of their products look good, but lack of description and info is a deal breaker for me.

Prices on that site looked dirt cheap until I added a bumper cover to the cart and shipping came out at $2700...
