So, I got a 2015 Mirage without fog lights, I'm thinking of buying the kit off Amazon for about $70. So would there be any other things I would need to buy or do to make them work? I have a twist type switch on the lever that controls the lights. Is it all going to be just plug n play?

Here is the link to the product I'm going to order. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01015D3A2/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awd_6uTKwbBW6BYFG

I have done this mod with little effort, the only other part that's needed is a relay..automotive relay SPST 35A 12V... look on the Digi-Key website it is part number ACVN51212. It cost me $5.60 Cdn plus shipping. Mitsubishi charges quite a bit more.....here's the link http://www.digikey.ca/product-search...ords=ACVN51212
Oh, and the dealer will have to activate the function with a software change, $20-$25 or so.

I see some of you have tried to go in from above. How did it go? Like many others I want to avoid removing the wheel wells if possible.

I will be trying this soon myself. Just ordered the kit from amazon:
    http://www.amazon.com/ZMAUTOPARTS-Mitsubishi-Mirage-Hatchback-Driving/dp/B01015D3A2?ie=UTF8&colid=VGLLDZWXKK99&coliid=I3RBP 0ZGZIO6H3&ref_=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl

    and the relay from Arrow:

I'll let you know how I make out.

Just finished installing the fog lights. The above mentioned lights fit perfect and were installed in about 2 hours. I did not go in from the top, however also did not need to remove the entire wheel well cover either. Just removing maybe 4 of the clips of the wheel well, and the plastic bottom pan gave me more than enough room to get up there and install the lights. We installed the relay and now just need to stop by the dealer to refresh the computer to accept the lights. We'll post pics soon!

Here's a couple of pics showing how much room you have with just removing some of the clips from the wheel wellName: IMG_2079.jpg

So I called 2 different dealers and they each want $105 to reset the ETACS to accept the new fog lights. I've been reading that this should cost $20-$25. Am I asking for the wrong thing? Has anyone reset this themselves? ~A

I took mine in last year to my dealer and true they only charged me $25....maybe they misunderstood what you wanted but short of buying the MUTIII machine which can be as high as $800 they are the only game in town.

This price hike may have something to do with backyard mechanics doing the heavy lifting with cheaper Chinese parts,(which they would normally do themselves with premium Mitsu parts) and only bringing the project in for them to light the candles, so to speak. So maybe they figure they are cutting their losses by a 4x increase....but the relay needed for this project will cost $30 from the dealer when one can buy the generic equivalent from Mouser for $4 to $5!
