Currently the price for the Supercharger is $3500 USD. I'll definitely buy it when it drops below $2500.

I love the idea, but wouldn't the head gasket and intake manifold (being that it's plastic) be too weak to support any kind of boost here? Has anyone tried one of these kits yet and for a long while to see the effects of wear on the engine?
It's definitely a point worth considering. There's been at least one, maybe two examples of head gasket failure with the 3A92 motor posted on this forum, and they were not boosted. I'm not sure the plastic intake manifold would be a concern though as boost pressures are not typically very high pressures.

I would think the turbo engine swap from the other mitsubishis would make more sense as the supercharger would take time and put load on engine no? Also would you need premium with either engine/mod? I've been thinking of having a local shop drop a motorcycle engine in if possible
Just spoke to the people of Speedlab's facebook page. They are pricing the supercharger at $3995.......That isnt only rediculous but a waste of money, for that price you can buy a 4G63T engine and do an engine swap. giving more than 200HP+, while the supercharger gives roughly 30HP. IMO not worth it.
