I remember back in 2008-9 when a Metro with super low miles and excellent condition sold for more than that on ebay.

    regards

Yah, resale will be low until the next Middle East hiccup, then you won't be able to buy a used one for MSRP.

If you read what specialists are saying the low prices are here to stay, at least for couple years. Saudis are serious about clubbing everyone to get control over market. Shale, tar sands, Iran, Russia, North Sea name it.

Hey, if it gets down to $1.65 a gallon, I'll be at 3 cents a mile.

Size: 8.4 KBseeing the usedan prices I decided to see what my nada value is right now. @67000 this is where it's at. The retail price isn't too far from what the white one is at the top of this page with 50000 less miles. That just goes to show I'll never be able to sell my car for a reasonable price once it's paid off lol.

It seems to me that the companies producing oil in the middle east were quite happy with the hundred and twenty dollar a barrel oil. The present forty dollar a barrel price was caused by the biggest stockpiles of unsold crude in history.

The ridiculous oversupply was caused by a massive amount of uncontrolled fracking in the US, Canada, UK and just about everywhere else. When you keep dumping more and more product into an already flooded market, the prices have to drop.

The powers that be are so smart that all that Alaska crude will be reaching this oversupplied market soon. Dozens of dead whales have been washing up. Their sonar was turned to mush by Shell oil's undersea seismic activity.

Instead of acknowledging that their own greed caused the market saturation, these anything for a fast buck business types want the Arabs to cut production. The Arabs didn't cause the problem, out of control fracking did.....and that is a story for upcoming generations to deal with. Care for a nice glass of oil slick fresh from the well?
