The powers that be are so smart that all that Alaska crude will be reaching this oversupplied market soon. Dozens of dead whales have been washing up. Their sonar was turned to mush by Shell oil's undersea seismic activity.

Instead of acknowledging that their own greed caused the market saturation, these anything for a fast buck business types want the Arabs to cut production. The Arabs didn't cause the problem, out of control fracking did.....and that is a story for upcoming generations to deal with. Care for a nice glass of oil slick fresh from the well?
Well there are only 2 things I can do to counter this: drive less and drive more economic cars. I choose later since driving less would require changes to lifestyle.

I would vote for any politician who would have had guts to over $1/gal tax on fuel to pay off national debt but this is not in the cards.

I agree completely. If we have drive, ir should be in car with excellent mileage. As for politicians, it seems their only purpose on this planet is to put the populations farther and farther into debt. The type of politics they practice makes no difference, in the long run they all borrow money that may take decades or longer for the taxpayer to repay. The bankers and their families have lived really well off the interest for centuries. England and France were paying off the Napoleanic wars for a hundred years. Today's wars are costing a billion dollars a day. All borrowed money...This post is getting too political, so I am stopping. No room for religion, race or politics in a 'lovable little car' group.

Egg man ,,,, No, I traded it in , about three wk,s ago for a 2015 Outlander SE. Because I owed 3,000 more then what you can Buy a New 015 DE and my interest Rate was too high and No one would refinance it being that upside down in it. Plus my Wife has a Service Dog that rides up front with her. And it was to small up front for her and the Dog. But it is a Very Good Car and I put a few ad on thing to it.

    here is a bunch of new ones for $9,304 for 60mo for DE/mt, $9,567 for DE/CVT, $9,607 for ES/MT and $10,683 for ES/CVT with 0% APR.

I think price might require to trade in a clunker. Doesn't say so so it may be not.

No you need to trade your outlander back and you have problem with loan solved, right?

(I get a feeling that you might be on the market buying another Mirage again when 2017 comes out)
