New tires, rear axle out of alignment. Drivers airbag deployed, that can get expensive. No one wanted to risk $7550. More damage than seller is revealing.

Fair warning, having rebuilt close to 200 salvage vehicles since 1973, if you even think about buying a total or any car that seems like it is "lightly" damaged, think again. Consider hiring a professional appraiser to inspect the vehicle for you, or you could end up with a very expensive piece of LAWN ART.

It seriously hurts me to see it happen, especially when you can spend a little and get a much better idea of what you are getting into. In some cases you can't even bring the car into your state for repair!

    regards

Think this still has a clear title, not 100% sure though. Also its a pretty minor accident, I remember my prelude I bought for $400 when I was 18 was smashed a lot harder than this, I pulled the frame out with a chain and a tree to get the fenders and hood to bolt together (wasn't perfect gaps but everything closed), Then about 6 months later I rear ended someone smashing it all again, surprisingly it held up very good in the accident, repeated the frame pulling and rebuilding process again, drove it 2 more years.

    Relisted 6800 OBO

Alex16,,,, the only bad part about buying and salvage titled car is if has a sticker in the door by the state patrol , or if it's on the title as salvage, you can't put Full coverage insurance on it , because no body shop will do any repair on it if they see that. So if I bought one the most I would give for that white Mirage would be 2,000 or less because of that. Or any body shop repair you would have to pay full cost. Unless you had someone who could do the repair.I bet that guy only paid maybe a 1,000 for it.
