Expensive Mirages

There's a thread for cheap Mirages, this one is for the other ones. I guess it never hurts to ask more than something is worth because most people seem to dicker. But, I won't bother inquiring about anything if the price is out of touch to start with.

I just found this used 2024 top spec Mirage listed for $31,000cad Has 5000km and comes pre-scratched. I just did a build and price for the same car(including $300 for black paint). It came to $25489 cash, that's including tax(5%), pdi and dealer fees.

If you chose to finance this car brand new for 84 months at 5.99% it'd come to $31,267 including $57xx in interest. This still seems crazy to me for a car that has a base(model) msrp of under $17,000cad. Maybe I'm living under a rock and this is the new normal?
